Aluminium- and zirconium oxide are increasingly being used in sensory analysis.

The excellent electrical and mechanical properties of the aluminium oxide make it the prefered material for applications where very good insulation characteristics, mechanical stability and resistance against high temperatures and corrosion are required.

Typical applications are temperature- and pressure measurement techniques as well as moisture, inclination and vibration sensors.
